The Ayasofya Hotel has been featured in magazines, newspapers, travel guides, feature films and documentaries. One of the most famous Turkish comedy films of 1970s was Aslan Bacanak starring Metin Akpinst snf Zeko Alasya was filmed around Ayasofya and shows the Hotel pre restoration.
